.. Mary played a significant role in the foundation of our Congregation. Through her intercession, Mother Elisabeth got that Yes from God on that especial August 15, 1836. Mary remains a source of inspirations in our life as CB Sisters. She is an excellent mentor in our discipleship to Jesus of Nazareth, the Christ. . This feast day is an occasion for us to turn to Mary for guidance in our commitment as women religious; trustful and dtermined in making a difference as signs and instruments of faith, hope, peace and compassion to our people today. .[from Basic Letter August 2010] |
